Chamila M. Gamage

I am Chamila Dilshani Malagoda Gamage. I received my PhD in Mathematics, from Michigan State University in 2023 and I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in Mathematics Education at the University of Florida. My research focuses on Optimal Transport Theory and undergraduate mathematics education.  You can read about my research here in my research page.

I obtained my master’s degree in mathematics from Ohio University OH, USA in 2017, and I earned my bachelors with an emphasis on Mathematics from University of Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Currently, I am working as an Assistant Instructional Professor at University of Florida. Alongside my teaching, I’m organizing a professional development seminar here at UF.
